To The Honorable Premier McGuinty, The Honorable Deborah Matthews, Mr. Hudak and Ms. Horwath:

Child Protect Canada has given each one of you documented information that alleges public taxpayer’s money has been misspent and misdirected for many years.  The information you have been given is just a small amount of the documentation of the alleged involvement of hospitals, doctors, and health care professionals, for-profit private health care companies and publicly funded health care companies in the alleged misdirecting and misspending of taxpayer’s health dollars.    

You are our highest elected public officials in Ontario.  You are the ultimate upholders of the “Public Trust” as our politically elected representatives.  Tomorrow, March 27, 2012, the Ontario Budget is being brought down.  With our large deficit here in Ontario we are being prepared for a lot of cuts of all kinds.  The health budget takes 41 or 42 cents out of every tax dollars that Ontarians pay.  Child Protect Canada believes that Ontarians understand the need for cuts.  When Ontarians see the alleged

waste and mismanagement that happens with Ornge and with what Child Protect Canada is bringing forward etc. without accountability and transparency then it becomes harder and harder to accept the pain of a budget when Ontarians see so much waste of taxpayer’s money.

Child Protect Canada urges all the parties to work together to form a Judicial Public Inquiry into the allegations and the misspending of taxpayer’s money. The public cynicism of its highest elected officials is very great at this time.

This is the proposal that Child Protect Canada is making to help engage Ontarians with you to feel that you are truly upholding the “Public Trust”

PROPOSAL TO THE LIBERAL GOVERNMENT, MR. HUDAK AND MS. HORWATH

OBJECTIVES

1) To call for and set up a Judicial Public Inquiry into the allegations brought forward here in order to clean up and make the health system more accountable and more transparent
2) Appoint 3 judges to preside over the Inquiry to show that Elected officials mean business and are very serious about bringing accountability
3) Leaders of the 3 parties and two more from each party health and justice for a total of 9 will lead and coordinate all aspects of doing this inquiry and facilitating all the parts and players to bring them to the table to make this happen.  This group of 9 three from each party will meet twice a week to make this happen. 
There will be minutes of the meetings and a majority vote will pass all decisions. 
This will give the public a sense that their elected officials are serious about this and it will go along way to change public cynicism. 
This all-party approach will send a strong message from the politicians that entitlement and the misuse of public money will not be tolerated.
4) We are asking these 9 members of all the parties to hire Child Protect Canada, which has made this proposal and brought forward these issues regarding the health system and the need to clean it up.  Hiring Child Protect Canada will be a strong early symbol that will show that you look like you are doing something about this.  By hiring Child Protect Canada, which brought this to yours and the publics’ attention you are saying we will do whatever it takes even if it is uncomfortable.
Upon Being hired Child Protect Canada and its team of professionals will provide a draft for the approval of the nine member political board mapping out the role to be played by Child Protect in working for and aiding the nine member board for this important and challenging work.
You are showing you are not afraid to do what is necessary and you will make the necessary changes in spite of how hard it is.
5) Part of the job of Child Protect Canada other than helping to facilitate this process of cleaning the Health System up in Ontario would be to help be a catalyst for setting up with the 9 member group regular public information sessions about what is going on with the process of the inquiry
These regular public information sessions will be very important to change the Ontario public cynical attitude about their elected representatives. 
You will all gain a lot of political points in Ontario and Canada and beyond for this out of the box approach.
